I'm. 19 weeks and have had this for a few weeks. I will sometimes go twice in 10 minutes. It happened with my last pregnancy too, I think it's just the baby dancing around on my bladder. I wouldn't worry but you could always talk to your doctor to ease your mind.

It's probably nothing, but I would probably just call your OB to see if they want to check you for a UTI.

That happened to me a lot around then. My MW ran a test to rule out bladder infection, since apparently a frequent, urgent need to go can indicate one even without any pain. Everything was fine, and it turned out that the baby was in a "footling breech" position which basically meant it was standing directly on my bladder. So every time baby would kick around, I'd be off running to the bathroom! I'd get checked if I were you, just in case, but don't freak out because there are many things that can make you need to pee while pregnant!

I certainly have experienced more strong and sudden urges since I have been pregnant. I am 24 weeks now. I would say this has been going on for several weeks. And depending on the day, the frequency can also be quite startling! I think it's normal.

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal or something I should be seeing my GP about.
My peeing frequency has been a bit all over the place since I found out I was pregnant, sometimes quite frequent but I put it down to the fact that I was guzzling water like no ones business.
Last night I was in pilates and all of a sudden had to pee and do #2 like NOW. As in, I wasn't sure if I would make it to the bathroom adjoining the studio! Luckily I did, did my businesses, and kept going with my lesson. I didn't drink anything else and by the time I was home (like 45 min later) I was BUSTING again. Since then its been non stop!
I know I am supposed to pee more when pregnant but I'm concerned that it came on so strongly and quickly. I don't have any pain when I pee and its not really cloudy or noticeable in any way, besides the frequency. Do you think it could be a UTI? Gestational diabetes? I'm scared!
