I had 3-4 in the year that I had it and none before or after. I had recurrent UTIs from the time I was a kid until I got pregnant with DD back in 2012. I've only had a couple of them since then. </p> <p>You could ask for a referral to a urologist. They can do a study to make sure you're not having an issue with your bladder not emptying all the way or some other issue. I go to the doctor, get an antibiotic and go on my way, until the next one pops up again a month later. I hardly ever got them before DD2. I'm wondering if it's because of a body change/ph balance change, or because I got Mirena this time? Anyone else suffer for these, have any advice? </p>
