She knew one wouldn't survive (anencephaly) and they tried to stop her labor but at 24 weeks they couldn't stop it. Little Andrew was born at 1lb 8oz and continues to do well in the NICU. He probably won't be home until Valentines Day (when they were due). I used to work with her before I moved a few months ago. When she found out she was pregnant, her baby boy was less than a year old. She was excited, but pretty scared because the babies would be only 18 months apart. I don't see her very often, but I ran into her shopping on Black Friday and she had found out it was a girl! When I logged onto facebook this afternoon, I saw a picture of her tiny baby who was born Thursday night. She was barely 2 pounds, but everything seems to be as well as expected, considering my friend wasn't due until March.</p> <p>Please keep both mom and baby in your thoughts and prayers. It really breaks my heart. I'll update when I know more. </p>
