I'm really close to her, but (as with most older people I know) she blurts out anything and everything without really thinking. Most recently, she looked at my stomach and said "You're stomach is 'pooching out'" and then gave me a strange look. I'm NOT pregnant....She knows we're thinking about having a baby soon so I'm hoping that's where that came from.</p> <p>She says things that bother me and she defends my cousin (age 10) who behaves like a toddler because he's so spoiled, BUT I love her so dearly and I know everything she says comes from love. I've heard some stories that should bother me. DH's roommate is also gay so I feel closer to him than DH's guy friends. </p> <p>My brother- He asked me over Easter about why we weren't pregnant yet then he says this little zinger... "Well, maybe you guys aren't doing it right" I ignored him and didn't call him out on it either. Next time, maybe I will. </p> <p>I think it has to do with their personality. </p>
