Rear is definitely the way to go for us. DS is a bruiser (probably about 34lbs at 28months) and it is not stable to ride with him on the front of the bike. Why?</p> <p>We just picked up a used Bell one for $20 and it's a rear. My husband said this way she won't get hit with bugs, etc. </p>
