So like others said, cycle in a bag a day. Alternatively (or in addition) to that, 1000 oz is A LOT OF MILK, so I would strongly recommend looking into places where you can donate it. Glad you are able to pump, nurse, and still build up your stash. I'd start cycling through so that whenever you do stop pumping, your frozen milk is only ever about 6 month old. I also would cycle through the frozen milk, so send the oldest frozen with baby and freeze everything I pumped. It helped keeping milk fresh. I was over producing at 6 months, but now at 14 months we use a lot of frozen milk and will run out soon. I have probably over 1000 ounces. Thing is, she is 6 months now and we have NEVER used any of it. I produced more than enough for her at daycare, nurse her, and still freeze some each day. My original plan was to use my stash when I decided to stop pumping. But I haven’t done that and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. Is it bad to give an older baby milk that was pumped when she was 2-3 months old? I know milk changes to support the baby’s needs, so I don’t want to give her something that isn’t going to give her enough nutrients for her age. What should I do? TIA </p>
