Hmm, good idea to mix fresh/frozen!

I've been giving him fresh. Pump at work, and when I go to pick LO up from daycare - I leave my freshly pumped milk there for him to drink the next day. It's a lot easier than taking it all the way home just to bring milk back the very next morning.

i just read the link that regberadaisy posted, and i pretty much do the same thing! except my frozen milk is older since i built up a stash in the early days, so i've been mixing with half fresh milk so that it's more nutritionally appropriate for current day.

Someone posted this http://lactationmatters.org/2012/05/17/pumping-strategies-for-the-working-mother/ in another thread and I plan to follow it!

My LO has been in a bit of daytime nursing strike so everything I pump has been given to her in a bottle!

I head back to work next week and have my freezer full of frozen milk I have been pumping/saving since DD was born. I know the milk from 3 months ago does not have the same nutrients/fats/calories as she needs now.

So do you give your LO bottles of freshly pumped milk in addition to the frozen milk throughout the day or just the frozen milk?
