@twoofeverything: thanks for your info! I don't think I have to be on patches or suppositories. Well I hope not at least. It sounds horrible!

@brownie: I had my appointment today and will start lupron on Easter Sunday. I've been lucky not to have any medication reactions. I hope it's better for you this time in June. That must be hard; this whole thing is tough, but having reactions I'm sure makes it a little more rough.

@twoofeverything: Thank you for your experience.

@derevival: We will have a test on day 3 in June then start the lupron and estrogen. I am allergic to adhesive so we probably aren't doing the patches. I also had a reaction to the progesterone last time, so we are trying a different one. The thought of doing them for 12 weeks is rough because of my reaction. They went through a lot of the process but I have forgotten most of it because we aren't starting anything until June and hope to cycle in August so we were preplanning.

We did BCP for 1 month, followed by 2 weeks of Lupron, then Estradiol patches for two weeks...I believe we started at 2 every other day, then upped to four every other day. The monitoring was more similar to a regular cycle on stims, which was much less intense than any fresh cycle, where you're having the monitor your follicles. During my FET, we did bloodwork and U/S every 3-4 days, I think. Post-transfer, I was on progesterone suppositories for another 12 weeks.
FWIW, this my FET was our most successful cycle ever. I had always had issues with my lining, and during FET, it got to a 10, (I had only ever gotten to a 6 before). I hated those stupid patches...i ended up wearing 8 of them, changing every 10 days, for about 2 1/2 months. You have to stay on the progesterone for at least the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy and stay on the estadiol patches for the first 10. Their sticker gunk was impossible to get off...the best trick was to use vegetable oil on them before I got into a hot shower! And the progesterone suppositories were just...ick.
GL! Our FET was the only thing that worked. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Just curious if anyone has done this. We are looking at cycling next summer for a frozen transfer.

What was your protocol (I know they are all a little different)? And if you don't mind a ballpark idea of how much it cost.
