<description>&#60;p&#62;My LO used to pop on and off for ages, getting really angry and frustrated. She eventually figured it out, with different positions helped by my doula. That being said, I had an overactive letdown, so she was choking a little.

<description>&#60;p&#62;LO is 5 days old and we're still getting the hang of breast feeding. Her latch isn't super great - ouch - but sometimes it's awesome. Often she'll be rooting around with a big open mouth and squirming like crazy to find the nipple, but won't actually latch. She either continues to root around forever, eventually frustrating herself, attaches for a split second only to remove herself, or she kind of attaches with out suction and just sits there. We're seeing a lactation consultant tomorrow but any advice in the meantime on how to actually secure the latch would be great.
