We bought iPad mini's for ourselves for Christmas, and the Fedex driver had someone else sign it. Talk about nerve wracking! I guess I'm so used to how easy amazon orders are? Fedex tried to deliver it yesterday and today. They refuse to hold it for pick up because they said the shipper restricted the order so it cant be held for pickup.<br /> I was on the phone with apple for over an hour, at first they said they could request to hold it for me, but later said no they cant, they could try to contact fedex but it takes a minimum of 72 hours to get through to them, I'm not sure why. But they still think I wont be allowed to pick it up.<br /> They tell me my only option to get it is to stay home or to pre-sign the door tag. But we live in an apartment building and I don't feel comfortable leaving the signed slip on the door. I told apple to just have the product returned to them and give me my money back so I can just go buy it in a store, and they stated that the total turn around time on that would be upwards of 21 days and I may not get a full refund. So frustrating!!!<br /> Deliveries from UPS and usps are so much easier than fedex </p>
