Her neck was so chunky there were so many little folds where milk and drool could get trapped. I would wipe it with a warm wash cloth in the AM and right before bed. If it was red coconut oil would clear up any irritation in a day or so. I don't think I'd use Butt Paste because it has chemicals in it I wouldn't want so close to my baby's face, but something more natural does help with the chafing. She is 10 weeks old and FF and seems to have done a good job at hiding some tasty milk bits in her chubby neck folds. We've been really trying to clean this area well at bathtime and after feedings but yet I will go back an hour later and find gross cheese curds in her folds. This moisture has seemed to cause a red irritation almost like chaffing or diaper rash. So, it seems like butt paste would be a natural way to help soothe the area. Does anyone else use butt paste here? Any other suggestions? It doesn't seem to be bothering her but looks quite red and I don't want it to become painful. </p>
