I don't think low/non fat stuff would hinder fertility, I think its just that full fat dairy causes more mucus in your body in general. Technically, humans aren't supposed to be able to digest dairy past breastfeeding, but most of us have evolved to it! I'm no doctor, but I'm guessing the mucus it causes is a minor reaction. Sounds yummy, huh? :)

To be honest I wouldn't expect a whole lot of benefit from your average fat-free yogurt, you need to check the label and see what are they replacing the fat with. Reduced fat is one thing, none at all is a bit different. And most dairy produce doesn't have horrendous levels of fat anyway - full fat milk here, at least, is only 5% fat so I wouldn't feel any guilt about it! Buy good organic stuff instead, I'm sure it'll do you good! Best of luck ttc!

I don't know, but I've always eaten low fat and haven't had issues getting pregnant yet.

Hey ladies,
I've always heard that eating full fat dairy can be a fertility boost. Does anyone know if eating low-fat or fat-free dairy can HINDER fertility? I've never jumped on the full fat bandwagon, because I struggle with my weight, but I eat fat free yogurt by the bucketful.
Do you think it could have the opposite effect? Or am I just a little delusional?
