Ugh, I think they're too small. I'd been noticing that the seam at the hip was starting to dig in a little but they fit everywhere else so I thought I was still good. But after posting this I decided to try on my other maternity jeans and realized they're almost all too small in the hip now. I thought I'd make it longer than this before needing a bigger size!

@PurplePeony: This might be part of it...I don't feel anything in the morning but it's unbearable in the evening.

@littlek: They're Paige jeans...though I have to say these might be the worst quality Paige I've ever worn.

I vote too small. I wore the Secret Fit right up until I was induced 10 days overdue and I was alllllllll belly and it never dug into me. It just didn't come up as high as it used to in previous months because the belly got larger.

I had a pair of maternity Citizens of humanity jeans that fit like this early in my 3rd trimester. They were super tight in the panel (which was full) while the jeans themselves were still a little baggy. My motherhood maternity jeans were super comfortable all the way through the pregnancy. I think I must have worn them every day for 4 months straight!

All of my full panel pants dug in toward the end of my pregnancy. They'd be fine in the morning but by mid-afternoon the pressure was awful. They were all the right size but it must have been the way I was carrying or something, or maybe I was just overly sensitive. No advice except to wear more dresses!

@spaniellove: I'd say bad pants. I had some secret belly fit pants from Motherhood and they were awesome and never felt tight at all. I wore them until the day I delivered and sadly, still have to wear them sometimes now since I STILL don't fit into my prepreg stuff.

Even at the end when I'd gained weight and the hips/legs felt tight, the belly panel was super comfy for me.

Sounds too small. I had that happen even when the non stretchy part still fit. I'd try a different style or brand- no point in squeezing your tummy right now!

@spaniellove: I would say bad panel. What brand, if you don't mind asking? There are some pants that were AWFUL.

All of my full panels go all the way up so they dig at all. I'm not sure what a secret fit belly is. Maybe it's not totally a full panel? Last pregnancy I did have to stop using any demi panels because those just hurt as my belly got bigger.

I've found it depends on the brand and how far along I was in my pregnancy.

I have a pair of jeans with the Secret Fit belly and I noticed that the top of the panel is starting to squeeze my stomach (not my belly, my actual stomach) so much that it's giving me stomach pain and I have to roll it down especially when I eat. As it is I can only eat tiny meals these days. Does this mean the jeans are too small, or is this how full panels fit?
