I had a complete previa diagnosed at 20 weeks during my anatomy scan and I was put on pelvic rest and all that until my 28 week scan. We were so worried, but it moved a whopping 12cm! My doctor said he'd never seen such a thing and ordered all my radiology reports and footage to look over it again just to make sure I wasn't misdiagnosed, but nope, it really moved that much! I spent months thinking I was going to have a C-section at 36/37 weeks and instead it cleared. Still ended up with a C-section at 39 weeks though - my water broke with no contractions and my 36 hour induction failed!

I had previa (not sure of the extent, I'm afraid) and it moved by 31 weeks. I had a c-section with my first and ended up with one for this pregnancy regardless.

I have complete previa that was detected at a 18 week scan. It was confirmed at my anatomy scan at 20 weeks. My Drs thought it might move before the 3rd tri but mine has not budged :-( (I had two prior csections so it is prob sticking like glue) I went to appointments every 2 weeks and had frequent ultrasounds with a perinatologist. My pregnancy was mostly normal (my Dr told us to abstain from sex in the 3rd tri and avoid heavy exercise) until I was hospitalized for bleeding at 35 weeks and I am on bed rest until I deliver next week at 36 weeks. I had to sign my consent forms today and I was reminded that I have a high % chance of major blood loss and hysterectomy. :-(

Good luck! My dr. says most previas for women without prior csections usually move before 30 weeks. FX for you!

Found out my anatomy scan showed a full placenta previa. I've been put on pelvic rest and limited exercise/lifting. I will have a scan in the third trimester to see if it's moved, and if it doesn't, they will schedule a C-section. Anyone else have a full previa? What was your pregnancy like? Did it move? I had a vaginal birth with my first and am a bit nervous about such a different experience!
