I'd take the extra long dresser. That way, like others said, it can also be a changing table.

This is helpful...thanks! We have virtually no closet space and I'm having a hard time figuring out where to put the stuff we already have in that room

If you can put a changing pad on that extra long dresser, that's what I woul recommend. You would have a good amount of storage and a place to diaper and change the baby.

Our nursery isn't that big, but I'd get an extra long dresser (or one of those taller ones) because there also isn't much closet space. She'll need the storage space as she gets older.

We have a crib, a changing table, a rocker, and a chest of drawers in the nursery. If I could do it over, I would have gotten a long dresser instead of the chest of drawers and used the top of that instead of a changing table.

Our first shower was this weekend and we came home with a ton of stuff. The second bedroom in our house is going to be a temporary nursery until we move within the next year. There are some random pieces of furniture in the room, but I am trying to make it semi-functional for the baby.

What was the most functional piece of furniture (beside a crib) for your LO? If you had to decide between maybe a dresser, an extra long dresser, or a chest, which would you get and why?
