I am pretty sure different people or organizations sponser or make the food. We had stickers for people to wear and some people also donated more than just a dollar. I know a few local banks and businesses did the same. Maybe you could contact local businesses about something like that? That's the only successful fundraiser I have personally done. Our bake sale was a flop! ;) I have seen Zumba-thons raise quite a bit of money and catered lunches for a cause at school (for teachers and staff). My favorite fundraiser locally is a touch a truck event organized by the Junior League. It's huge and really well organized. We have a few causes we'd love to donate to but we're falling short on interactive ideas for fundraising. In the past we've done a Zumbathon and raised a good amount of money through that but the resources aren't really there anymore. </p> <p>Also, I've been part of bake sales in the past that just fell flat. Any other creative ideas? Something to get members more involved than just sending in money is what we're looking for! </p>
