bringing this back up, because i just remembered something cb said this week...
we were in a "tent" (under the covers in our bed) and i said, "let's tell secrets! you go first. tell me a secret!" and cb thought for a moment and then whispered, "i love gogi." (meat in korean!) so randomly awesome.

I don't have a LO yet, but we spent they day at the lake yesterday. My 2 1/2 year old niece was done eating so I told her it was time to go get her swimsuit on so we could get on the big boat to go swimming. Her eyes lit up and she did this little shimmy dance like a belly dancer before running off to get her suit. I was cracking up and asked my sister, and she said she has no idea where she picked it up but it's her excited dance, she didn't say a word, did her little dance moves, and that was that!

Ok guys, Wagon Jr. did something so funny this weekend I really wish I had gotten it on video for you.

Lately one of his favorite things to do is to take all of the play food, pots and pans from his play kitchen (in our actual kitchen) and take it by the armful over to the living room couch. Then he likes to play cook in there. I have no idea why. Anyway, I was getting fed up with stepping and sitting on wooden food so I put all of the play kitchen stuff into his little shopping cart and told him to push it over to the kitchen and put everything away. He started pushing it really fast, running, and the cart started tipping left and right as he pushed/ran. So imagine, I am sitting on the ground watching him run/push away from me, with his back to me, and I yell "it's gonna fall! go slower! GO SLOW!" and instantly he stops... or, at least I thought he did... then he continues to walk/push IN SLOW MOTION. Literally, his little foot lifted behind him in slow motion and went back down on front of him. I WAS DYING!!!

Ahh cute! I love this thread.

LO is only 3 weeks old, but he's been doing this since birth *sometimes.* DH and I now listen and hope for it every time he sneezes.
He'll sneeze a few times, and usually it's Achoo, Achoo, Achoo, Achoo... UHHHHNNnnnn!!! He makes this adorable little grunt after a series of sneezes. The sound is self-satisfied and ADORABLE.

@mrs. wagon: Cute!! I love story time and can't wait till my LO responds.
@banana: That is hilarious. Looks like you have to get up 15 minutes early to leave the house. :P
@MrsHotDog: :) My LO does this as his default face.
@autumnlove: Aww.
@BoogieBea: HAHAHHAHAHhahahha.
@artbee: Aww cute.
@Rock n Roll: I can't wait till our LO talks. That is ADORABLE.
@Mrs. Jacks: I actually laughed out loud. Love it.

@Mrs. Jacks: OK I know Mr. Bee has said this before but I LOVE your funny Lala stories because she is funny on purpose instead of just by accident and I think that's AWESOME. That kid is going to be so cool when she grows up : )

It was Mr. Jacks' 30th birthday yesterday. He was moping around all day saying, "I'm an old man". Last night, I was getting Lala ready for bed and I told her she needed to get her jammies on and brush her teeth. She put on a sad face and said, "I can't I'm too tired because I'm an old man."

It was kind of hilarious in the moment.

My LO's new thing is asking for a kiss when my husband or I leave the house.

"Can I have kiss?" and we always say okay and give her one and then she giggles excitedly like she's been kissed by some super star. She even said, "I can't believe it!" when I gave her a kiss the other day (which was extra funny because I give her kisses all the time.)

Aww that's sweet!

My LO just learned to dance :) She has a little kitchen, and if she pushes the thing for the oven it goes beep, beep, beep, ding! And then there's a little song. She loves it, she'll push it over and over again, start dancing, then look at me and DH to make sure we're dancing too.

Our daughter is 10 months old and have been really getting into her brother's space. Last night my son was sitting on the toilet and crawled into the bathroom to see what he was doing. I hear him shouting from the bathroom, "no, no Beatrice! It's my toilet, my toilet!" we thought it was so funny. My daughter now tries to stand unassisted and when she does, she claps for herself.

These made me smile! I can't wait until my daughter starts doing funny things.

She is 11 months (in 3 days) but the only thing that I can think of is that just this weekend she started to pucker her lips like a fish face. I have no idea where she learned how to do that but it cracks me up.

OMG, that just made my heart melt!!! So adorable I die!

Let's see....This morning when my son putting on his shoes (they have 3 velcro straps on each shoe), he would strap one velcro strap one, stand up, look around and clap. Then he would do the next velcro strap, stand up, look around and clap. He did this for every single velcro strap. Then he did the same while undoing the velcro strap. Took him 15 minutes to put on his shoes. My husband was pressed for time so he was like getting a little impatient but I thought it was hilarious.

Wagon Jr. cracks me up daily, but I can never remember funny stuff when one of these threads comes up. But he's been doing something funny lately so I just had to start another one.

When we do bedtime together (Wagon Sr. and I), I stay until after we read Wagon Jr.'s bedtime story and then I leave. Wagon Sr. sits in the glider with Wagon Jr. in his lap, facing out, and he reads the story. I sit facing them on the glider's ottoman and watch Wagon Jr. listen to the story. Most of the book he is sitting there, looking pretty stoned, staring at the pages of the book. Every now and then he'll lift his gaze and see me smiling at him from above the book... then his face breaks into a smile and he silently mouths "hi, mommy" haha!! Sometimes he does it again and just mouths "hi" or just "mommy". It's so cute because he's doing it as Wagon Sr. reads, and it's obvious he wants to say hi but he doesn't want to interrupt the story!
