How old is he? Maybe think about sleep training?

Do you keep the lights off when you get up to nurse?

@Thehistoryofus: my biggest problem is that he won't fall back asleep. He literally is wide awake to the point I just wake up and watch him play then he tires out and sleeps. Not sure what else i can do to encourage him to continue sleeping.

Sounds like teething and just changes in sleep due to age.

My LO keeps waking up couple of times a night. All he wants to do is nurse, he doesn't seem hungry but just wants to suck. I give him the paci, but he spits it right out. He never used to do that when I gave him a paci. Even when I do allow him to nurse, he is still super fussy and becomes wide awake. Teething or something else? His front two teeth are coming in. I can actually see them.
