I agree with Ms Wagon, I would try to feed her a bit earlier to see if that helps.

Try looking at the clock to see how long it's been between bf sessions. At 14.5w it's probably close to 2.5-3 hours depending on how much she eats at a time. After a day or two you should be able to see some new hungry cues. It sounds like it might help to try feeding her a little bit sooner - maybe just 15 minutes. If she's not really showing hungry cues that you can see consistently and if she's going 2.5 hours, for example, try offering her milk at 2.25 hours (measured start to start).

Maddox does this in the morning when he's starving from going 12+ hours from last eating. Except he starts to wail as soon as he sees me unclasping my tank top!

Anyone's LO cry until letdown? LO has been doing this since about 7 weeks (she's 14.5 weeks now), and it's beyond frustrating. I have to either deal with her cries and unlatching until I let down, pump until letdown and quickly latch her on, or pump and bottle feed. We thought once we got her acid reflux under control she'd ease up, but she still goes crazy unless she's really sleepy. It's not even like my letdown is slow- it takes about 30 seconds give or take (more when she unlatches, screams and stresses me out). I am wondering if I feed her when she's too hungry and that makes her frustrated until a good flow is going? Now that she sticks her fingers in her mouth all the time, not just when she's hungry, I really don't know the hunger cues to look for.
