@Thehistoryofus: awww, that just gave me the chills... Brings back memories because our first DD had that mirror. we used to sing that song all the time. We've donated it since, but now I may just have to get it for Baby 2.0. Sometimes the song got annoying, but it's so catchy!

We got so sick of the song on her bouncer that we donated it as soon as she was done. We thought that even if we had #2 we would never want to hear that song again and would buy another bouncer! I think that newborn time was also really rough so we kind of have a bad association with the song anyway. Lol.

I think that's our destiny as parents in the 21st century, with all the mechanical/singing toys available now. I despise them, but my DS loves them.

I was in Target the other day and didn't realize until my son started singing with me, that I was singing the "Counting Train" song. The other shoppers must've thought I was crazy!

Yes! I hate it!!! The worst part is when I hear a song when we are out with friends and think its from one of DS's toys!

What most often gets in my head is the Fisher Price Amazing Animals Train that sings. I have one of them in my head quite often: And then there's the giraffe! Who's very, very, very, very, very, very TALL!

Do you ever get songs from your LO's toys stuck in your head? Baby Y got a musical activity table for Christmas, and ever since, I've been walking around the house singing, "1 ... 2 3 ... 4 5 6 7 8, and then, there's 9! Counting's really great! With nuuuumbers, when you have nuuuumbers, then you can count! And count agaaaaain!"

Argh. And I know it's only going to get worse from here on out!
