Update: I finally got released this evening with what I would call sever constipation & a low grade fervor. I was suppose to be released the night before but the constipation was so bad they were considering sticking tubes down my nose to flush it out. That would have ment staying another 4 nights in the hospital. So after 24hrs of MOM, enemas, sapositories, and LOTS of walking I was finally able to poop.

IMO I was not ready to leave the hospital. I'm not sure if the pain I am still feeling is the constipation, the residual pain from the surgery w/ leaky liver & bile duct. The doctor pretty much said it could be just about any of those & told me to walk it out.

I want to believe what the doctor says however after this last week of people not listening to me & dismissing my discomforts as gas, I really don't have much faith in what he had to say.

On a more grateful note: DH was able to spend the entire time with me at the hospital. He doesn't have any sick leave or PTO time built yet sense he hasn't been at his job for a year yet. The company was willing to let him work from the hospital to help him maintain his hours. It was annoying to see him working while I was sick as hell but it was something he needed to occupy his time. I was glad he was there and he would drop everything any time I needed his help. TMI warning: ladies he even gloved up and helped wipe my butt!

Thaks ladies. I found out that it wasn't the leaking bile duct causing my problems, my liver was seaping. I don't really know what that means but they had to re work the way they handled my second procedure. I had 1 min to talk with the surgeon that had took out my gallbladder on Friday, I spoke to him about today's procedure an he said he didn't really know what was going o. Cause he's not the one that did it. (So why the hell would you do rounds for my procedure then!?) he couldn't really answer my questions & didn't want to stick around long enough to do so. I was feeling really good after my second surgery until about an hour ago when the sharp, stabbing, & burning pain can back again. He did say that the remaining bile will have to absorb & I could have some pain again, but I f-ing hurting again & I'm f-ing scared!

Here is a little update. I went back to the ER Monday night/midnight. The ER DR: ordered a cT scan that showed I have fluid in my abdominal cavity. I was then admitted in hospital around 5am. Still having uncontroable they finally got me a PAC pump around 9 am that worked wonders up until 3-4pm. Then slowly startered to wear off. Whatever they have me on is stronger the. Morphine & they are afraid of increasing the med cause it can decrease my respirations.

Finally met with the surgeon from my gallbladder & he said the other scan I had done showed that the bile ducts are leaking on my liver. Which is why I have been having such bad burning & stabbing pains in my abdominal wall.

Today I will have yet another surgery to repair / reroute the bile duct leak. Hopefully this works & I will not need the third surgery with the draining tube (that just sounds gross).

All & all I we are exhausted! DH has been a super trooper along with my mom! He spent the night with me in the hospital even though he didn't have to. Thankfully he was able to get sleep & has been able to work from "home" (hospital) during this time.

I will stop rambling as now is the first time all night I have felt tired enough to sleep/ wish me luck! ALSO if this makes no sense at all I want to apologize a head is fine

As some of you may know I had my gallbladder taken out this last Friday. Saturday I sat around all day watching teen mom & Sunday I was feeling pretty good. I even got all the papers on my desk filed away.

At about 630/7pm last night I got up to go ask DH if he would cook something cause I was hungry. Just then I started having sharp stabbing pains in my chest, & along the right side (where the gallbladder is). I had to txt DH to tell him I was in pain because I couldn't yell at him because it hurt so bad. I asked him to call the DR. I told him it didn't feel right & that it was burning. The DR. did tell me before we left the hospital that I might have symptoms from the air remaining in my belly that feel like a heart attack. Right after DH had talked to the hospital I told him to call 911.

Why is it that they always seem to move a lot faster in the movies & on TV then they do in real life. I was in SO much pain! Something just didn't feel right. We got to the ER they kept pumping me full of morphine & nothing was working! It took over 8 shots before I started to feel relaxed enough to stop balling.

We waited almost 2 hours to get in for an ultra sound. They had to call her in sense she was on call for the weekend. REALLY?! It's a hospital! STAFF IT! Anyways the ultra sound was normal, THANK GOD! So they said it had to be from the air they pumped in me during surgery.

The morphine hardly helped but they sent me home anyways but with oxycodone. That wore off after an hour. So here I sit at home in the same pain I was before going to the hospital. I'm trying to be real quite because DH has to go to work in a few hours. I can't help but feel let down by my DR's & nurses. I have a follow up with the surgeon today but in the mean time this is what I get.
