We've been able to use some of them in creative ways, before she is old enough to use them in their intended ways. For example, using her alphabet flash cards before she was actually interested in learning her letters, we would talk about the animals or the colors on the cards.<br /> She also really likes playing with our Connect Four set. At first we would just dump all the cards face-up on the floor and find that matches. Then we slowly transitioned to playing "correctly" with just a few pairs at a time. I know there are lots of games geared towards preschoolers but wondering if there are any simple ones for toddlers? I'm hoping to ask for a few as gifts even if she can't use them until she is closer to three. I was thinking maybe a simple memory game. I'm sure she wouldn't understand it very well but it would maybe be a good intro game for her. Any other thoughts? </p>
