@Pumpkinspice: Oh good! 89 is a great read. The second she delivered birth, she took a fasting read and she was back down to 85. :)

@ladyfingers: My fasting levels were over 95 which is the highest they want them to be. And when my first level was high that didn't help my level an hour after I ate. So, my morning readings have been too high.
@banana: Glad it's worked for someone as well. I've only taken two but mine came down to 89.

I wasn't on any meds but one of my close friends was on glyburide because of her high fasting levels. Her fasting levels were in the 110-120 range and came down to 95-100 after the meds.

@Pumpkinspice: Just out of curiosity, what were your numbers like that they put you on it? I'm trying to anticipate if I might need meds, which is I realize totally insane instead of just waiting and asking my doctor ;)

Hi all! I've been put on Gly-Buride 2.5mg before bed. I just wondered if anyone else has taken this? How did you feel on it? How long to really think it was working to lower your resting sugars?

Just a little curious about it all.
