I didn't have to, I was on the lowest dose of glyburide in the evening to help my overnights. My OB did tell me the second time around that since we were starting so early in pregnancy that there would be the possibility of having to change my meds as I progressed. So it seems like it's fairly common, just wasn't my deal.

I hope you get answers and are better controlled soon. And I agree that was a low reading. It seems strange that it's getting so low, but maybe your diet is better managed than you thought, that would be great news :)

I take Metformin and glyburide to manage my GD and follow a diet set by my Dr/dietician and things have been good with acceptable blood sugar readings. (I started the meds in early January.)

I am now 22 weeks and I've had fainting and dizziness issues since Sunday. I called the L&D line on Sunday and they told me to call back Monday. I called yesterday and they asked me to test my blood sugar one hour after my next meal. I tested after lunch and it was 83...def low. They haven't called me back yet so I will follow up this morning.

Did you have to switch up or drop your meds at any point in your pregnancy?
