This is going to sound even more boring but I usually have cheese and crackers, or beans and cheese. When I'm feeling brave and I know I can put in some exercise, I eat thin, whole grain bread with some kind of protein, again, the easiest is cheese but I've had heated sliced turkey or eggs, maybe even turkey sausages.

Plain greek yogurt with almonds and/or blueberries (fruit doesn't make me spike)

I agree with egg sandwiches. I made one last week that was also a grilled cheese-paninni like thing with scrambled eggs. It was great.

GD has made me realize how much carbs we tend to eat for breakfast. It's the hardest meal to avoid high carbs.

@autumnlove - I would think plain oatmeal would be fine - like the kind that comes in a big tub. There's no sugar or sweetener in it. Quaker also just came out with another no sugar type of oatmeal too in maple and cinnamon - http://www.quakeroats.com/products/hot-cereals/perfect-portions/maple.aspx

I would always have an omelet with peppers/onions and a sprinkle of cheese and slice of whole wheat toast with butter. Its harder to do that now with the baby so I make egg muffins on the weekend and eat 2 for breakfast in the mornings.

What about an egg sandwich? Turkey sausage, eggs, whole wheat bread? The sausage and eggs should help tide you over for awhile.

What do you eat for breakfast? I have been eating one slice of bread with peanut butter and a hard boiled egg. I'm kinda bored with that meal!
