one of my friends with twins has both a maclaren double stroller and a bob double stroller. they prefer the bob because with two, there's a lot more to push (especially when the babies get bigger) so the build and suspension of the bob really helps.

my other friend with twins has a bugaboo double stroller--they love it. it's a big stroller, but again, i think it's much easier to push because of the suspension.

My cousin with twins (they are 4 months now) swears by having 2 rock n plays, both her kids would nap in those and were content spending time in them. One had some acid reflux so the incline helped with that!

.....a minivan :) no really, get one. It wil make your life better.

We have the double snap n go stroller frame, and I really like it so far. Our twins are 6 weeks and we already use it all the time. So easy.

We also have 2 ergo carriers, so we can use them for one or both of those if the stroller is too cumbersome. I love the ergos with the infant inserts. I even wear one around the house a lot.

They share a crib in our bedroom for now, but each have their own in their nursery for eventually.

We dont use much else for gear yet....but seriously consider the minivan :)

I had the graco pack and play with double bassinet that I used for awhile before I put them in their cribs and then I continued to use it as a pack and play for travel.

http://www.amazon.com/Graco-Pack-Twins-Bassinet-Vance/dp/B005UV0UV8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346127270&sr=8-1&keywords=double+bassinet

I also had two swings and two activity saucers. That was helpful because I had a place to put them both. Ours had a little reflux so they slept in their swings for a few weeks while that subsided. The activity saucers were great because I could sit in front of both of them and play with the various toys instead of holding them in my lap.

I also had two high chairs and a triple stroller (because of my 8 month old) with just twins you would only need a double. But I found those to be necessary.

I don't have twins, but my stroller can be a single or double and I cant tell you how much I love it. It's the Britax B-ready, it has 16 configurations and it's the tops. Good luck!

This seemed to broad to lump with my other post. I like to research, so I'd like to be able to start looking into different brands of gear and looking for good deals.

What gear would you recommend for two? What items do you need two of and what items can you deal with having only one?
