I felt that people got us what we needed from our registry and plenty of things that were not on our registry where gender didn't apply like toys, books, etc. And we still got plenty of clothes. I think the decision is ultimately yours. Gifts from friends and family are great but ultimately you need very little and if you get the "wrong" things you can always return them to get what you need. They told everyone that they were not revealing the gender so they got all gender-neutral coloured items even though they knew they were having a boy! We are planning to find out but were planning to surprise people at the shower because I don't want gender specific clothes. My friend was team green and she said they ended up getting tons of blankets/hats from people that they didn't end up using. If they think it's a girl, you'll probably get a bunch of cute but useless frilly things. We don't want to because we are not a plan of all pink or all blue. We mentioned to some friends/family we may not find out and they thought it was crazy and said it would be too hard for people to buy us anything for our shower.</p> <p> So, I am curious, to those of you who did not find out the sex, did you get things you needed at your shower?
