I think some people hear party for a baby and assume it's baby shower like. I would assume since it's not your first you'll want to specify no gifts.<br /> 2) Will you find out before the shower or find out with guests?<br /> 3) When to host- this depends on your friends/guests. If not many have kids, maybe do a nighttime party with signature blue and pink cocktails. Lots of families/kids? Maybe a BBQ on a Sunday. When you decide the guest type and party type, that will dictate if you should host or ask a family member or close friend to. If you have to have someone else host, then I would suggest doing everything yourself- just asking them to share their home. I think unless you live in an apartment, etc, that can't accomodate, you should probably host.</p> <p>After you decide on these things, there are TONS of fun ideas (check pinterest!) for things to do! Decorate in blue/pink obviously, ask people to wear pink or blue depending what they think (and if you guys don't know, you can too!) You can reveal with a pinata, or cake/cupcakes, or balloons... lots of ideas.
