I love them. I think they're fun &amp; cute. I feel like life is freakin' short and sometimes pretty crummy, so why not celebrate whenever you can? What's wrong with being a little self indulgent every once in a while? If I lived my life worried about whether other people thought I was tacky or over the top, I'd be so miserable. Thankfully my friends/family are in the 'celebrate life' mindset too. </p> <p>We didn't have the time to plan something with Sadie, so we just did a cupcake reveal with the grandparents and posted the video on Facebook. But, next go-round we're having a full-blown party with balloons floating out of a box, cupcakes, and pink and blue crap everywhere. Basically, we had lunch and then brought out the cake. The grandmothers each used a knife to cut a wedge so they would be the first to see (we already knew). I took pictures of their reactions. It was so much fun; very low-key and a lot of fun. We host parties all the time anyway, but they are normally low key bbqs etc to watch sporting events. We were team green with our first so obviously didn't do any of them and even though we found out this time we just told people.
