We knew exactly when I ovulated because I was monitored but I can imagine that just a couple days off on ovulation date would make a big difference at that point since things are just barely able to be seen. Don't worry! Try to just remember that today you are pregnant. Focus on the holidays and Jan 5 will be here before you know it. I still freaked the eff out though bc the dates they were getting would mean I got a positive at 5 or 6 DPO which seemed impossible. So, if you were off on your dates like that, it would be legitimately too early for heartbeat. I bet it was just too early!! I had my first appointment today, and the NP said she could see a gestational sac and a yolk sac but no fetal pole (that she mentioned anyway) and no heartbeat. Going by my last period, I should be about 6W2D now. I've been having long cycles, though, so before the US even happened the NP said I may have ovulated late.</p> <p>She didn't seem too concerned, and I'll be going back Jan. 5. I know it's early, but can anyone humor me with stories of similar experiences that turned out well? Jan. 5 feels a long way away, and I'd like to ease my mind a bit if possible :-) </p>
