I just got the main part of the place done earlier this week, and our bedroom yesterday. (Christmas sheets, a runner on the dresser....even though no one will see it!) The "office" and guest room are sill a huge mess! I also put some candlestick lights in the windows. But there is not a single Christmas item up inside my house. Mainly because my LO's birthday party was last Saturday and I didn't want it to be Christmas-y. But at this point I almost just want to skip it. We fly home next Sunday to have Christmas with our families in Mass and it seems like a waste of effort to have the decor up for one week. None of my garlands are up, I haven't put the tree up, and we've barely managed to put some lights on some shrubs outside. I noticed that my neighbors seem to be going through the same thing - by this time the neighborhood is usually full of lights and decorations but so far it's looking sparse! I don't know if it's because we had really warm weather followed by snowstorms? Anyone else feeling like this? </p>
