Ugh. Now that we don't live in a walking city and I'm not walking in my commute to work, I know I walk very, VERY little. It's probably depressing if I were to really pay attention to it. I'm impressed you went up and down your staircase 16 times in one day, @mrbee!!

I may consider getting one of these for both of us when our lo is born so we can make sure we're getting enough exercise and getting her outside and playing and running around.

ETA: how do you wear it to bed? Clip it on your shorts or something?

Huh. When I used to work at a restaurant, I'd walk 5 miles per shift. :)
I don't wear a pedometer anymore--though yours sounds pretty cool!

I should get a pedometer to see how far I actually walk -- I do a lot of walking for my commute.

DANG! I don't walk as much since we don't live in a walking city! I'm scared to get a pedometer.. I did walk 1.5 miles on Saturday around the track. :)

I just got the results of my first full day wearing the Fitbit Ultra apedometer!

* 11678 steps taken today
* 16 floors climbed today (this just means that I climbed our staircase 16 times)
* 5.2 miles traveled today
* 2891 calories burned

I didn't realize that being a parent was so much exercise!

Half of those miles was carrying a 28 pound Charlie... I feel like I should get extra credit for those haha! I was happy I walked 10k feet, but apparently some people walk much more. Dang, that's a lot of walking!

How much (and how far) do you walk a day?
