My son is tall enough that he can stand under the shower when it's on a lower setting. Neither of them seem to mind, which is good, because I hate doing baths. When we moved cross country, we lived with my parents and brothers for a few months. E was only two, but with 6 adults sharing one shower, no way that tub was clean enough for baths. E just didn't like it spraying on his head, so we would wash his body in the shower, then turn on the faucet and use a cup to wash his hair. We just started to be able to wash his hair in the shower when he turned 4. They are 5 and 2.5 years old. We transitioned over the summer since it was just easier to shower after daily trips to the pool. I use the light spray setting on the shower head and slowly transition to the regular spray setting. LO1 likes to help and hold the shower head while I lather him with soap. He feels like he is actively participating, and it seems to work to overcome his fear. With school starting next week we want to try for daily baths/showers (we do every other right now, and just rinse offs if needed), but she isn't a fan. Is there a way to get her to like it a little bit more? When did your LO start taking showers? </p>
