We have the shower head attachment so I can lower it and let them hold it. My son is tall enough that he can stand under the shower when it's on a lower setting. Neither of them seem to mind, which is good, because I hate doing baths. My DH usually does baths, but if he's away for the evening, I will only do showers.

DS1 is also terrified of showers - even the shower head attachment. He's almost 4.

We have a shower head attachment so DS1 uses that - much better than having the water rain down on them from the shower head.. And we still give him play time in the shower after he's done washing his hair and body.

I have tried to use the shower attachment with my son to get him used to it, but he tells me it tickles. So no idea what I can really do about that for now, so he's still bathing.

He didn't have a choice... When we moved cross country, we lived with my parents and brothers for a few months. E was only two, but with 6 adults sharing one shower, no way that tub was clean enough for baths. E just didn't like it spraying on his head, so we would wash his body in the shower, then turn on the faucet and use a cup to wash his hair. We just started to be able to wash his hair in the shower when he turned 4. He holds a washcloth over his eyes to keep the water out.

Idk, my two little cousins, 5 and 6, visited over the weekend and they very much liked taking baths and playing with bath toys.

My kids don't like showers - not sure how to make them like them - I assume in time they will move over.

DS is soon to be 8 and still takes baths

My kids like showers, but I still help them out. They are 5 and 2.5 years old. We transitioned over the summer since it was just easier to shower after daily trips to the pool. I use the light spray setting on the shower head and slowly transition to the regular spray setting. LO1 likes to help and hold the shower head while I lather him with soap. He feels like he is actively participating, and it seems to work to overcome his fear. LO2 likes to be like big brother, but it was more difficult for him to transition.

Great question! My 5 year old like showers, but only if a parent gave him a shower. I feel like he's getting a bit old for that, so I would love to know how to talk him into doing it himself just with supervision.

My LO is 4 and I would love to get her used to take showers once in a while. With school starting next week we want to try for daily baths/showers (we do every other right now, and just rinse offs if needed), but she isn't a fan. Is there a way to get her to like it a little bit more? When did your LO start taking showers?
