It helps that my LO absolutely LOVES shoes and clothes, so those definitely count as a "fun" gift for her. She needs things, like shoes, stuff to transition to big girl bed, a carseat etc...but that's boring! I feel bad because LO1 always got fun things, and we just bought the necessities as she needed them. </p> <p>Do you tend to get your LO fun things for their birthday, things they need, or a mix of both? I'm thinking maybe a mix would work...like get her a pair of shoes and then a toy? </p>
