It reads greenish, so I also have a coverlet in the same hue, with quilted circles. It would pair beautifully with that gray blanket underneath and folded over at the top. We also have silver euro pillows behind the white shams, and three different patterned blue, gray and white throw pillows in front. </p> <p>A border is a good idea to take the plainness off the duvet, if your hubby doesn't like the look of a blanket at the bottom. Mine doesn't, and besides it would look a mess if it was his turn to make the bed. He's not into details. And I put a square black pillow in the middle of the pillow arrangements with a black throw at the bottom of the bed, but you could maybe do this with a grey?</p> <p>I think grey and white go lovely together</p> <p>Sometimes I tell my DH what I am thinking of doing and he says he doesn't like it, but when I actually do it he does like it! We've had the same sheets, duvet, pillows, etc for the last 5 years and it's getting pretty old and dingy. </p> <p>I like the look of crisp white, but I don't want all white. PB has a simple white duvet, and then I want to pair it with this pretty gray quilt/coverlet underneath (or would you do a different color?) ; then just a set of simple white sheets.</p> <p>But what should I do for a throw at the end of the bed? I wanted a faux fur throw to add some texture and color but DH doesn't like the look. Suggestions?
