The baby tends to nap for a lot of the time she's in school, which is good- alone time for me!- but bad that I don't get to do much one on one with her. I just don't see how there is time otherwise. And like you, it will sometimes be struggle for me to not want to use that time for something else. My daughter goes to preschool two days a week, and it happens on one of those days. It can feel like a drag to get myself there sometimes, especially since there are a million things I could do at home. But honestly, sometimes the quiet observation time and singing at this group feel like the only times during the week that I really see him. I feel like DD1 gets what she needs because she is older and therefore more verbal and sleeps less but DD2 really could use some more TLC. She's 17 months. I do my best to make nap and bed time routine just us. I try my best to focus on her as much as I can but sometimes I just don't feel like there is time! I'm often feeling sadness and longing when I think of my relationship with her and I'd like to take steps to make us a priority. </p>
