I got my BFP right after DS self-weaned. He weaned at 21 mo pp, I got a weird AF 2 weeks later, and 6 weeks later I got my :bfp: ~22.5 mo pp. AF returned 17 mo pp and up until the day DS weaned he was nursing 4-5x/day and 2++x/night.</p> <p>My friend did get pregnant while breastfeeding though. Her daughter was under a year old when she got her :bfp: and she was nursing full time, without supplementing. I'd had 2 or 3 cycles, not regular at all, and one was so light, I'm still not sure whether it counts or not! It took 9 months after stopping the mini pill. </p> <p>I had 10 pounds of extra "fluff", so as soon as I started working out daily I got pregnant right away. It was our first cycle trying, and I HIGHLY recommend charting as BFing can cause a short luteal phase. Took about 6 cycles once my birth control finally left my system. We weren't actively "trying" for about four of those, just not preventing. Ellie was four, and we were down to three or less sessions a day on the average day.
