I would just try to move it down to his side and gently hold it there for a little before letting go. I do believe his issue was caused by reflux though which was flaring at that time. I have tried to gently hold her hand and give her things to grab (chewbeads) but she doesn't get the point. I know in a month she will be in a new phase and I can laugh about this, but any suggestions on how to teach her better "breastfeeding manners"? </p>
