We went through this and it drove me nuts! I would usually go poke my head in L's room before I went to bed and scoot him back to center as long as he was in a deep sleep. But he's almost 11 months now and has thankfully grown out of it as he's gotten better at maneuvering himself and the novelty has worn off a bit. We had a brief re-occurrence of it when he figured out how to pull himself up to sitting, but it went back to normal pretty quickly.

Oh, that sounds annoying. Mine moves around like that. Her favourite position is 360° from where she started, head crammed in the corner and butt in the air. But, it doesn't seem to bother her and I'm pretty confident she could get out of a weird position. Perhaps just practise moving and crawling a lot during the day and hope she grows out of it?

Does anyone else's LO get stuck in their crib? My daughter (6 mo) is super active in her sleep....rolling from side and side and often moving in a complete 360 over the course of the night. The trouble is at least once a night, she gets stuck in some uncomfortable position (usually her head against the bars) and she needs our help to get repositioned. That wouldn't be so bad, but she gets really upset when it happens and needs to be calmed down before she'll get back to sleep. Has anyone had this happen? If there anything I can do, or will she just grow out of it as she gets more mobile?
