@PinkElephant: That's what I'm hoping!! She's been really struggling with that poor tooth, so maybe it'll get easier for her.... fingers crossed.

I know several babies who got their canines first. My daughter got hers last (after her molars), which I think is standard? For her they were by far the worst so in one way maybe you'll be lucky and get the toughest teeth out of the way early on!

@heartonastring: @MamaBehr: Haha! I can't wait to see LO's smile with the canines. Glad she isn't the only vampire baby.

DS#1 got his upper canines in first. He looked like a vampire baby!

How interesting! My LO literally has every other tooth in her mouth EXCEPT her canines (she's 16 months).

E got her bottom two central teeth right on schedule but now there's a top canine (I think) peeping through!

My kid's going to look like a vampire soon...she has three teeth on the bottom and just cut her top canines...no front teeth on top yet :)

Yes, my LO was missing her incisors for a long time and just had her two front teeth. It was really cute though. Eventually they came in (like after her molars)

LO had her 9 month checkup yesterday, and sure enough, she's finally teething, but instead of the two bottom lower teeth, a canine up top is popping out!

The doctor didn't seem too concerned, just said it was out of order, but now I can't stop giggling at the thought of my little snaggletooth with her one poor little canine tooth!

Anyone else have an LO with teeth that came in out of order? Did it end up being a problem or did they all come in ok eventually?
