@Mae: Yeah, they're on Prilosec. They've had little tastes of tomato sauce before, but this is our first time trying it as a real meal, you know? All of their reflux issues happen at night, so I guess we'll find out tonight if they can handle it!

Next time clean it first with cold water. Hot water will set the stain. As for removing the stains I don't know!

side note--- are your kids still on reflux meds? how did they do with the sauce? I'm scared to give lo tomato sauce due to her reflux since we were told that can cause flare ups.

@twodoghouse: Chopseuy told me to let some veggie/canola oil on it. Then rub it off and wash like normal. It got it off her high chair tray. Super easy.

Anyone have a tried and true trick for removing tomato sauce stains from plastic? My LOs had sauce on their lunch noodles for the first time today and their high chairs are now covered in orange stains. Their faces are also stained orange, but I assume that will fade in time. Maybe by the time they are 5? :silly: My usual hand washing of their high chair trays didn't do anything for the staining, so I thought I'd see if anyone had recommendations. Vinegar? Baking soda? (Uh, not at the same time, obviously) They eat off these (obviously) So I'd like something not very chemical-y. Tell me what you do!
