Hey mamas.

Just read through the first few pages of the child care threads looking for encouragement.

We started our first official daycare on Monday (LO is 14 months old). He's doing OK.

The crying in the morning at drop off is killing me, but hopefully that stops soon. It sounds like he is doing well during the day, eating, napping for 2+ hours, and generally happy. But the evenings and mornings before/after have just been so weird - LO is just so "off".....he has been throwing tantrums this week at home if he doesn't get what he wants, he had never done this! And he just seems so needy/clingy, it's making me sad. I knew some of this was to be expected. It's just been a tough week :/

From 4 months - a few weeks ago he was at our neighbors house (she homeschools her 3 kids ages 7,9,12) an they used to entertain my son. But he was in the car a ton, didn't have much of a routine and we move anyway so it wasn't convenient.

Anyway......How long did it take your children to adjust?
