@MrsSRS: We've been doing a thick layer of cream at night. Which presents another problem, diapers that are less absorbent and leak. Although I will take doing laundry over diaper rash.

A thick layer of triple paste before the night time diaper gets put on should help with the rash. And we do lots of water and bananas and yogurt and cheese since they are...firming.

This happens to my LO when he is teething. Now that he is older (16m) he doesn't drool so much but I notice his poop is softer and runny because he is swallowing so much spit. :bummed:

@FaithFertility: just a runny nose. She has an occasional cough but not anything I'm worried about. Sinus infection crossed my mind but I'd really hate to add antibiotics to the mix.

Sinuses... is she congested? This past week with G's cough and her swallowing the mucus I think it upsets her stomach and lead to more frequent BM, her bottom is a little red and she has been going 2-4 x a day and normal for her is 1 possibly 2

My 19 month old had very loose mucousy stools a week ago for a day. They have continued to be loose and frequent for the past week. The only other symptom is a runny nose. By frequent I mean 3-5 times a day. And consistently sometime before we get her from her crib in the morning. Her normal is one maybe two times per day and definitely not in her crib. I'm trying to push probiotics daily.

Any thoughts on what could be going on? Or advice on how to move past this?

Her bottom is pretty rashy from the early morning stools.
