I'm sorry you're dealing with that :( I had one a couple of weeks ago and it also took me a couple more days to recover than usual, and I randomly felt queasy for another week. Hope you feel better soon!

I had it at 39 weeks. And then would have contractions after....awful. It lasted three days spread over Christmas.
I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Hope you're feeling better soon.

I have had TWO this pregnancy, hospitalized for fluids for both. The latest one kept my daughter down for 12 hours, didn't even effect my husband, and I had it and its aftermath for 2 weeks! GI bugs are WAY worse for me when I am pregnant

Pregnancy is hard on the immune system, so it makes sense that it would take a little longer to be able to fight it off. Hope you feel better soon!

I just got over one. It lasted six days. The first two were the worst and I shouldn't have been out of bed, but the last four days I could function like normal except for when I went to the bathroom. I drank Gatorade like crazy, and everything ended up fine. I don't usually get these bugs, so I don't know how long they usually last. But yeah, I can imagine that a bug would knock you out more during pregnancy because the baby is taking all the very little nutrition you're getting while you're sick. :( Sorry and I hope it turns around for you soon!

I had it once in each pregnancy - the first time I ended up in the hospital (mainly because I was really scared about hydration) and the second I didnt, but I felt like I was dying. Definitely felt hit worse than when I get a bug not pregnant.

Hope you feel better soon!

@mrsjyw: @travelgirl1: ok good, I was hoping I would hear from people saying it knocked them on their ass more than usual. Even my husband is wondering why I'm still down for the count (he had me call the OB today). I can take more time off for sure. The light headedness and dizzy and spinning in general is so weird for me

I has one at new year, I was 13 weeks I think, and it was horrendous. But after three full days I was okay again, or at least back to regular MS. Can you take say off to rest? Sounds like you need some recovery time!

I had a gi bug at the start of the year at the tail end of first trimester. I literally could not move out of bed for 24 hours aside from the bathroom, it took a few days on top of that to get back to somewhat normal, which was still ms/nausea and fatigue. Ugh hugs hope it passes soon!!

I had a bug on Sunday and I STILL feel like shit. Usually these things are 12 hours long and then I feel fine. I left work early today-broke out in a serious sweat and needed to get home and lay down. I feel light headed and dizzy and sick every time I get up. I called my OB and their main concern is hydration, and I'm keeping liquids down. I know my husband is exhausted doing EVERYTHING right now :(

Did you feel like it took you longer to recover because you were pregnant? I'm just shocked it's still lingering!!!
