@kiddosc: I can't find a specific trigger. That was my original thought. They are pretty good about checking for soy so I don't think it is them. I just don't know what else it could be.

That seems really suspicious that it's always starting on a Thursday. Does daycare have a rotating menu where they serve something that might not agree with him every other wednesday or thursday? I know you said he only gets food you send, but E is not supposed to be served many of the snacks our daycare serves and we often find out he's had some because I find crumbs on him or his sippy cup smells distinctly of cookies.

So, it is official. Since the middle of July, my 2 year old has had either vomiting or really loose stools every 2 weeks. It seems to start between Thursday and Saturday and end by Monday. Then the second Thursday he does it again.

I was just told at pickup that he had 2 poop accidents at school and they were very loose and runny. Yup 2 weeks from the last time and 4 weeks from his last vomiting. Yippee!

We are now in more control of his food (he eats only what I send) and we are strictly away from soy. So I am at a loss for what it could be. We have a call into the Gastro and an appointment with his pediatrician tomorrow morning. But I don't even know what to google to see if anyone else has ever had this happen.

Anyone? He can't afford to lose weight from this kind of cycle.
