If the invite is power rangers - I'd go with the theme. There are tons of power ranger things for girls - my DD loves her pink and yellow ranger costumes - anything dress up ... colouring books, books (there are a lot of "early reader" ones - but my kids LOVE the "Super Samurai Official Guide" book for referencing), action figures. I know way too much about Power Rangers *sigh* lol

What about an analog watch? Timex makes some great time teacher watches and they probably have a power rangers one.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Will you come to my birthday party?

I might ask the mom for ideas, or go with books/art supplies/an experience that isn't really gender specific.

I don't have any brilliant ideas but if I ever turn five again I am totally inviting @Mrs. Lemon-Lime: !

My go to gifts for boys and girls are books-Mo Willems is great for that age and boys and girls both love him. I also like activity books. Art supplies are also perfect- oil pastels are a fun one they often don't have, charcoal pencils and a sketchbook are fun. At that age learn to draw books are fun too and you might be able to find a power rangers one.

Super cool sleepover bag or bunch of cool pool toys in a super cool kid friendly beach/pool tote or dress up gear for super heros- cape, cuffs, headgear, stuff to cover up her shoes or colorful tights or super cool flashlight for exploration- maybe two so she can explore with friends.

...had a Power Rangers birthday invitation?

Its at the YMCA - I normally stick with girl stuff for girls and boy stuff for boys but the invite has me thrown off!!!

What would you get her or should I ask the mom?
