I think clothes or a gift card to a clothing store, is a good idea. I wanted to buy a crafty project instead of another toy. The parents are close friends. They said he doesn't need anything, and I know they already feel overrun with books and toys as they live in an apartment! As a parent, what would you say is the best gift for a one year old--should I get an amazon gift card and a small toy? I want to bring something, but something that will be useful and not clutter! Thanks for any ideas. </p>
