I also gave a Starbucks gift card to the two midwives that I worked with during my labor and delivery. I got two huge bags of that, as well as some bagels, and it seemed to be much appreciated:-). Where I work we are often SO busy we joke that you could leave a bowl of bread crusts and it would all get eaten! I just love all of them so much and have been going to the same office for years and really want to get something to show my appreciation. I was thinking of giving my Dr a plant (he's mentioned he likes gardening and my older daughter's name is Lily, so I was going to get a lily) and write a note telling him how much I appreciate having a doctor that really cares and how rare it is to find that these days, etc. </p> <p>Should I get cookies or something else for the rest of the staff? There's 2 nurses in particular that I really like, but I don't want to leave anyone out either. </p> <p>Any other ideas of what to get? </p>
