Does she drink? Get her a bottle of Amarula! It's really popular in South Africa :-)

I'm sure this goes without saying, but a heartfelt letter was always the best gift I ever received from families of my students. I still have every one.

I'm a high school teacher so obviously not the same but I always always ALWAYS appreciate consumables more than crafts/mugs/objects. Gift cards for coffee, manicures, even a VISA cash card are always great options. The rare exceptions to this have been jewellery that is by the same designer as stuff I already wear, and an engraved pen that I still use every day.

C's daycare teachers have been such a blessing for me so I want to do something special for them. I already figured out what I'm getting for one teacher, but I'm at a loss for the other. This lady is a real baby whisperer! Seriously, amazing!

She doesn't really *need* anything - she owns her own Etsy shop and she's not really hurting for money (the only reason she works there is because she really loves the kids). I was thinking of making her a hand/footprint craft, but she already makes the most adorable crafts for all the parents, and I don't think I could come close. The only other things I could come up with are Starbucks gift cards and a spa kit for her hands (because her hands get so dry from always washing)... but those just don't seem very special for her.

Any ideas?

If it helps, she's from Germany and South Africa, and I know she really misses those countries.
