DH and I were in our first apartment and were slowly decorating it to our taste. Come Chrismas morning, and we unwrap 3 wooden ducks all hanging from fishing line, one on top of the next in decending size. They are to be hung from your ceiling as decor. MAN, did I do a good job pretending that they were awesome, but DH and I were flabbergasted. We're not into hunting, not outdoorsy or naturey per sey, we don't like ducks and our simple modernesque decor certainly didn't scream "Dangling Ducks!" IMO. We hung those ducks in 2 different apartments before they 'were damaged in a move' never to be seen again.
